This page describes the cookies and similar technologies used by SyncSEO across the marketing site (syncseo.io) and the application at app.syncseo.io.

Strictly necessary cookies

These keep the service working and can’t be disabled: session cookies for authentication (set by our auth provider, Clerk), CSRF protection, and the sidebar-collapse preference inside the app.

Functional cookies

Small preferences we persist so the app remembers your choices: current workspace, dark-mode preference if/when we ship one. All first-party, no cross-site tracking.

Payment processing (Stripe)

When you visit the Stripe-hosted Checkout page (during a subscription sign-up or top-up purchase) or the Customer Portal (to manage your subscription), Stripe sets cookies needed for fraud prevention and session management on those pages. These cookies are set on Stripe’s domains, not ours, and are governed by Stripe’s cookie policy.

Analytics

We currently do not run any third-party analytics trackers. If we add one (for example, Plausible or a privacy-preserving alternative) we will list it here and update the last-updated date at the top of this page.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies via your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in; blocking functional cookies will reset in-app preferences.
