A Social opportunity is a Reddit or LinkedIn thread / post / question where your business could plausibly contribute, derived from real LLM citations or web searches against your buyer prompts. Each opportunity comes with grounding metadata: which engine cited the source URL, which competitor is winning there, and why this fits your business.
Discovery scopes
- Quick discovery (1 credit) — reuses recent citation results plus a small Tavily top-up.
- Full discovery (2 credits) — broader search with a mini-probe pass. Best for first-time runs or when you’ve added new competitors.
Four content variants
- Reply — a response to an existing thread. Reddit: thread-tone reply with flair suggestion. LinkedIn: comment on a post.
- Question — your own question to spark discussion (Reddit subreddit choice, LinkedIn audience hint).
- Post — a top-level post. LinkedIn-style insight or Reddit-style discussion starter.
- Article — routes through the full Article pipeline (Doc 14) with a SOCIAL_LINKEDIN adaptation flag on the polish pass. 2 credits charged on the social side; the article pipeline cost is absorbed.
Drafting (2 credits)
Click Generate draft on any DISCOVERED opportunity. The agent produces a body sized for the platform, polishes it (AI-detection score, issues), and saves. Status moves DISCOVERED → DRAFT → USER_EDITING.
The drive-by-AI warning
Reddit and LinkedIn penalise low-effort AI content. We separate the agent’s draft from your edited body — you commit changes before posting. After three posts marked done WITHOUT editing the draft first, the editor surfaces a recurring warning about platform penalties. The signal we care about is whether your reply reads like you wrote it.
